But you don't notice that many acrylic display bases have a lot of beautiful patterns printed on them. In fact, most of these patterns are printed on silk. Do you know what problems should be paid attention to in screen printing these beautiful patterns?

The principle of screen printing is: when printing, the printing plate (paper film plate or other printing plate has holes for the ink to pass through), and the ink is transferred to the substrate (paper, ceramics, etc.). Images or characters are formed through the holes of the perforated plate with a certain pressure. Although screen printing equipment is simple and easy to operate, there are still some problems that need attention.

1. Four-color printing on acrylic display base

To use the same size and stable aluminum screen frame (the aluminum screen frame is firm), the screen frames used are all stretched from the same type and type of wire mesh. The use of dyed screen helps to eliminate the tortoise shell. The tension of each part of the screen should be uniform, and the tension of the four screens for four-color printing should be consistent.

2. Positive film of acrylic display base (ie film)

Put it on the processing material of the acrylic display base (it must be flat glass here), and then expose it (the so-called exposure is to dry it in a place with strong light), and the stretched stencil is placed on the positive film, parallel to the image axis. If moiré appears, rotate the screen left or right until the moiré disappears. The areas where the ripples are easily formed are located in the direction of the screen and the intersection of the screen. Main colors and darker colors cause many problems with moiré.

To achieve perfect image reproduction, one of the most basic requirements is that the quality of the transparent positive film must be good, that is, the edges of the dots should be neat, opaque, and scratch-free. The color separations and the inks used use the same color code. Halftone images are printed with high viscosity inks, the finer the mesh, the thicker the ink. 

3. acrylic display base polishing scraper

Very important for high quality screen printing, the squeegee bar has a Shore hardness of about 70. The scraper should be set at a 75 degree angle. If the squeegee angle is too flat, the printed image may be blurred, and if the angle is too steep, there is a high risk of distortion of the screen printed image. Do not install the ink return knife too low, if it is installed too low, the template will be filled with excessive ink, and the custom acrylic display stand prints are easy to blur and smear.

4. Precautions before batch screen printing of acrylic display base

Fix the screen, pour the ink for trial printing, check the level, ink color, ink layer thickness, specification, registration accuracy, etc. If the registration accuracy is poor, you can adjust it according to the fine-tuning knob on the front of the frame; if the color of the ink is wrong, check whether the wrong ink is used and replace it immediately; The penetration and wettability of the ink to the substrate has been improved to a certain extent; if the order and level of the pictures and texts are quite different, the screen version should be replaced immediately.
